Trick EGR Valve?

Trick EGR Valve?
my 94 Cobra does not have anything for an EGR valve but a bent over piece of copper, so of course when it warms up, the Check engine light comes on,
Is there another way to Trick the computer into thinking the EGR Valve is functioning correctly besides a computer tune?

Worked like a charm, good stuff, i have yet to drive on it to see if it effects the performance
