is this a good motor.

RE: is this a good motor.
hell thanks for that advice, I am looking more for horsepower and performance than for a stupid name or look. All I care about is it sounding good and being able to back it up. I thought of maybe getting a fuel injected 351W and turboing it but I really have no idea what type of engine to get cause I am kind of new at mustangs and these engine builds. I know my trucks got a 351W and it is pretty powerful but it is really only pushing around 250 hp. Actually I don't own the mustang yet but am in the process of selling my truck and buying one and I am going to look at 2 this weekend. What motor combination would you guys suggest but remember that this is a daily driver that I want to be able to beat any ricer and most other mustangs out there. I am willing to pay a little more every month if it means a more horsepower and performance. I would really like to get around 600hp if at possible and no they are not Nitto 555R.

The K-Member or "cradle is what your motor mounts connect to therefore holding your motor. The a-arms are what connect to the k-member and that is your front suspension minus the springs and shocks.

I would build you a 408 for $1000 less that would have good rings in it!!
Probably even make more power.
Really.
Ford sells a 351W crate motor for about 7900 (M6007-C392) thats rated at 475HP.
If Ford built the car, they prbably know something about motor......

Really, 1K will not even buy the block.
Looking at some stuff I just got here tonite and Roush will sell you a 408/450(?) HP for less than the no name bunch. He builds some pretty good stuff too...
