i was looking round for some heads and i was wondering what's the difference from these and normal cobra GT-40 heads?

i think i might go with the edelbrokc heads but still trying to decide

they ford magazine says they are better flowing than the original GT-40 heads

they're called the GT-40X Xtra performance "turbo swirl" aluminum cylinder heads

well they claim that the iron gt 40's make a little bit more hp, but w/ the turbo swirls your droping
alot of weight and thats what i would go for, which edelbrocks were you looking at?

the reasoni ask is casue i can get a good deal on the GT-40 turbo swirls... but i was looking at the PERFORMER 5.0/5.8L WITH 1.90" INTAKE VALVES (look at link)

are to GT-40's better than most after market heads or about the samw?

i've got the performer heads, and i like 'em, with my set up in my sig, i picked up 6 mph in the 1/4 mile

but i'm able to get a biiig discount on the GT-40's like close to 40%... would you go for the them then?

oh yea... they're brand new out of the box
