well tomorrow im going to check the other vac. line and sensors on the passenger side to start eliminating all parts that are on the car before i put the motor in.

deletion of the smog crap:

1. smog pump removal with hoses and get a shorter belt 835K6
2. unplugging the sensor on the back of the passenger strut tower
3. unbolt the smog tubing from the h-pipe
4. unbolt the smog tubing that goes to the heads and plug the holes with plugs
5. unbolt the EGR valve and make/buy a plate to block the holes to the EGR spacer
6. unbolt the sensor from the back of the EGR valve and push the plunger in half way and tape it there (so it will read closed loop)
7. unplug all the vaccum hoses from the passenger strut tower to the EGR to the intake
8. plug the vaccum line on the back of the upper intake

a 84.5 belt works better it does not max the tenshioner out. stanglx i think you have everything.

over a couple drive it streches so its not maxed out

Tape is so it's half open? You can't just delete it? Or is that unless you buy one of those egr simulator things, or make one? I was kind of confused, if you made a plate wouldn't that be deleting it anyway, or did you mean make a plate and still bolt the egr on over the plate.
