Catylitic converters on the exhaust. I'm assuming you don't have to worry about emissions testing?

they were the first thing i took off, I was actually reading the thread form stanglx2002 about the vacum lines that go to the egr and some plugs they were talking about. the thing im curious about is on the edelbrock performer heads is what i think an emissions crap. its a tube that connects the heads through a small port in the back side I took it off and it looks like the ports are threaded , im thinking of just plugging the up but im not 100% sure.

im doing the same thing, all the vaccum lines on the left side came out with the sensors, the egr is gone, all the vaccum stuff in the passingers fender is gone to, it has to go, one thing i removed this ball shaped thing in the passingers fender do i need to put that back? i think it has something to do with the heater fan controls.

Yes, block it off. If you check those threads you were talking about earlier, someone stated that those were smog related. But anyway, yep, try to find a bolt to plug that hole up! I'm gonna be doing the same thing in a few weeks, good luck

yeah i thought so, cuz i know edelbrock offers the non-emissions style head, but threaded the holes so they can be blocked anyways? dont know if there is any gains but its just an eye sore.

Yeah i'm not positive, but it sounds exactly like what we have behind our stock heads.
