If you have a working smog pmp can you just buy the smaller belt and re-route it or do you have to do something else? Is it worth it?

This is for up to 93

For 94 and 95. Summit Racing Part Number ASP-025030 Phone Number 1-800-230-3030
Hillbank Part Number STE-555-3335 Phone Number 1-888-445-5226
Can't just use a smaller belt because of the placement of the tensioner and direction of the water pump.

What is the route and belt # for non-AC cars with the AC delete kit which moves the PS pump up a touch? Also, with undersize pullies?

I went with the part from Summit because if the belt breaks it can be had any where. I tried loading a picture drew in AutoCad and saved as a JPG don't know if it will show. It shows both ways of routing the belt. It appears that either way will keep all of the pulleys going in the correct direction, unless I missed something. The untensioned length is about 90 inches for a 94-95. In the top of the picture it shows different lengths for Dayco belts from 88 to 90 inches. I do not know what the correct amoint you will need to shorten the belt to achieve the required tension. AutoZone show a Goodyear belt 4060882 that they keep in stock. The metric number is 6PK2240. If you multiply the 2240 by .03937 it will give you the length of 88.1888 or divide it by 25.4 it will give you the length of 88.1889. Either way it is close enough. If the picture does not show let me know and I will email it to anyone interested or tell what I did wrong.
