Alright well I suppose I'll hit the buy it now button? Any disclaimers about this intake before I do it? Am I going to have to modify my heads or the GT40E intake to make it work? What about that ACT sensor that uedlose mentioned, is that going to be a problem?

I don't have the tools, knowledge or money though, I wonder how much a shop would charge me to do it? My dad is saying to wait to buy the intake and what not until I get the lifters and the ball joints done. Then he said to go ahead and start chasing my performance stuff.

Its intiraly up to you. If I was in your shoes I would wait to get everything at once and save up. I would get those gears first, you will feel the most out of that than anything else. Your only maybe going to get a 15-20 HP gain. Your not going to get alot of gains of of just an intake.

I didnt mean to change your decision on the intake, if its the right price go for it. I truely think you can do the gear install your self its not very hard. The gears are only 120 bucks. And the bearing kit for 60. I didnt even have to replace all my bearings. I paid 120 for the gears and another 10 for the pinion bearing I needed.

And the install only took me about an hour.

But if you want get the intake, I just hope your not disapointed.

Noo that's not it, I've been wanting to do the gears for a long while but I'm really thinking about the 3.55s because like I've mentioned before, I am almost always doing anywhere from 60-75 mph, the only time that I do under that is when I'm in the nearest town or on a paved road with a speed limit (cops tend to hang around those ). Like I said before, I'm only making like 200-300 every other week and that leaves me about 300-450 per month to play around with, and with some 3.73s or 4.10s my gas bill is going to go up quite a bit per month. I'm not looking for the most out of the gears, just something that's going to get me sideways on pavement and a little bit more get up and go. I'm going to make some calls tomorrow to the guys that I'm going to have rebuild my rear end with the gears (what ever I decide on) and see how much they can get the gears and install kit for vs. what I can get it for and go from there. But first I need to get things fixed and that shouldn't be for more than a week. Now if that made any sense hopefully whoever's reading and replying can kinda understand.

3.73s wont affect Gas milage much with your auto. I also heard 4.10s dont affect Gas mileage much.

And also remember with any modification to you car is going to affect it in either a positive and negative way. Even that intake you wanted may affect Gas mileage a bit.

True, but I didn't think that it would be as drastic as the gears, I've got my mind set I'm going with 3.73s.
