Connecting rod question

I am currently building up a 331 stroker to drop in my 93. I just ordered a cast eagle crankshaft and now im looking for some connecting rods. I am going to get the forged eagle SIR I beam rods, but there is something im not sure of. What is the difference between pressed fit, and bushed pins? Also I dont know what pistons Im gonna get yet. I know i want forged pistons and my block is .030" over. I have gt40p heads with a 59cc chamber and they have been milled so i think I need some pretty dished pistons to keep the compression down. any suggestions?

RE: Connecting rod question

pressed fit are as described, the pin is press fit into the piston, unless you have a press, you need a machine shop to assemble. Bushed have clips at the ends of the pins to hold the piston on.

Make sure you match the pistons to the rods for correct compression heigth. You have pistons for stock length rods and pistons for 5.4" rods.
