i am trying to find out if the new 390 gear set will work out in a fox body with a stroked 5.0 @ 500HP FOR DAILY DRIVE AND A FEW PASSES AT THE STRIP ON OCCASION WILL HOLD UP. just an idea on my part.

yeah it'll work well.

i like 4.10's but for a daily driver ( 60+ miles per day) i can see where that might be a little steep.

3.73's still lack a bit imo for the best str8 line performance. 4.10's put you through traps at about 5200 and tach about 3k @ 75 mph.

so the 3.90's would tame it down just slightly.

3:90's are a perfect gear, I would personally go with 4:10's but alot of people do not like them for DD cars. The 3:90's should work just fine. BTW, what brand are they?

yeah what brand are they i would of got them insteed of my 3.73 if i saw them[:@]
