Default Hood Adjustment

Bought a 3 inch cobra r cowl hood for my 94 mustang, anyone know a way to adjust the hood, does not sit great on it and is not even hittin rubber stoppers in front , thought maybe theres a way to adjust the latch or adjust by where it bolts on, tried movin it with one side unbolted,but doesnt move much, just if ne one has any tips or nething let me know, thanks.... by the way i got it from eric holt on ebay it was only 125 bux not countin shipping, so for wat it cost me im not complaining.

the latch on the radator support move that down some and see if that helps.

You said you tried moving it with one side unbolted. But try this. Tighten down both sides. Then loosen them just enough that you can move it but it won't move on its own. Then in the closed position see what is hitting an try to move it accordingly for it to line up.

just make sure you dont drop the hood hard or anything to close it incase it is going to catch your fender.

Thats what I did to adjust mine. Worked out pretty well.

were the screws went in for my latch, I just drilled thoose holes bigger with a step bit, worked out well......
