$& AHHH
Ok so I went to a local 4x4 shop where they specialize in rear diff and the guy quoted me this
Labor= 350
set up kit= 110
shop supply= 10
hazzardous waste= 15
axel and something else that I cant understand= 40
TOTAL= 525!?!?!?
I can get the set up kit for 60ish and I dont need the axel thing he was talkin about. so thats 90 off the price but I need to get the Diff oil and additive. The guy has a good rep I guess a guy I know that owns a shop takes all of the cars he has there. What do you guys think of this?

RE: $& AHHH
I'd keep shopping. Around here I think they get about $220 with the rear axle in the car.
If you are in the great state of Calif. you will pay for a bunch of 'hazard fees' etc.
Shop supply charge not new, I charged one 30 years ago when I ran a shop.......
