i was wondering how much hassle it is to go from a h pipe with cats. to a O/R one.. and then back.. keeping in mind i have to put all the Air pump stuff back.. for emmision testing.. once a year.. do you guys thing its worth it..?
or just bite the bullet and buy a set of high flow catted h pipes..?

I think it is worth it. The swap only takes 30 minutes at most. But if you live in a place like cali I'd save up for a hi flow catted h-pipe. I've heard of a few people getting busted for driving around with no cats, but its up to you. Even then you might not pass the visual with an aftermarket catted pipe.

I still have a 2.25" catback so it could be louder. I bought the catted pipe just to be safe, but I'm considering selling it and getting an offroad pipe. It just isnt loud enough for me at the moment. I have a 2.5" catback coming in the mail so I will see how much that improves it.

Yeah i'll let you know...I'm about 75% sure i'm going to sell my catted pipe and go for the offroad though. I keep going back on forth whether I wanna get rid of it since I paid so much for it and I'll get so little out of it.

But for now I'd say go for the offroad pipe. It's a very easy swap and well worth the time.

so you dont think it would be to much of a hassle to switch it back and fourth when it comes to emission time..
