Regardless... my wheels are wider than his are... the struts are angled in, not out. So a taller tire sidewall would not affect rubbing on the strut dust cover. His issues are related to rim backspacing/wrong spindle. Newer sn-95 spindles had the ABS spacer.. that could only help prevent strut rubbing. However, with my wider tires and NO ABS spacer(I have the 93-95 cobra spindles) I have no issues.

I didn't catch that. Could just be referring to the style though? :shrugs: And yeah, I know height won't effect his problem. I corrected myself in a post saying that width/backspacing was probably his problem.

With 8's and 9's it seems as though most people will run 245/45 in the front and 275/40 in the rear. I have 17x8 Mach 1's on mine with 245/45.

You might check out www.oewheelsllc.com they use to be a sponsor on here I don't think they are any more though. If you "like" their facebook page they have $100 off coupon for wheel and tire combo.

But note, if you have lincoln rotors up front the center caps won't fit. Before you go buy stuff though, why not pull off a wheel and check your backspacing?

Like I said before and in the other thread he posted. Take pics of the spindles/rotors so that the experts(us forum trolls) can tell him what he actually has.

Why buy new rims that you think will work or that some salesperson says will work and have the same problem?

How hard is it to take off one wheel?

There's all kinds of them up here in junkyards. If you can't find any shoot me a PM and I might be able to help you out. Don't know how much shipping would be though.
