Underdrive pulleys and AC delete

RE: Underdrive pulleys and AC delete
change of plans, it turns out i dont even have a smog pump lol, the guy before me removed it. i didnt think i had one but ive been at college and all i had was one engine picture to go by and i saw the belt going down to the smog area. well i go to drive it today and i check under the hood to try and picture what it will look like without the ugly AC and in place of the smog is a pulley. so i guess my cats are screwed. my UD pulleys and AC delete should come in the mail this week, and ill get them on next weekend. when i get the new belt tho, should i just bypass the smog pulley? also what should i look for around the smog pump area to make sure this guy did it good?

So you havent even had it on the road yet? You havent passed emissions and probably wont. What kind of a midpipe do you have, there is supposed to be 4 and in a previous post you said you have 2. There is a pipe from the air pump that goes down to the midpipe, and it is probably capped off. The other air pump line comes from the back of the heads which is probably capped off also.

Yes i removed my smog pump and ran a shorter belt, i dont see the sence in buying the pulley, I know you didnt buy the pulley though. I also have deleted the A/C and relocated the power steering pump. How are you going to pass emmisions have you thought about that much If you go to get it tested just to see and fail they will remove your sticker even if it hasn't expired yet.
