Default Lowering Q's

How many of you out there have lowered your mustangs? What was involved in doing the job, I assume there is more to it then just buying the springs and shocks and installing them. What other modifications have to be made to the car.. wether it be steering, brake lines whatever.

you can just buy some springs you will need caster camber plates to correct the negitive camber issue you will have but thats about it.. there are other things you can get to make the ride a wee bit more pleasent such as new shocks and if you have stock shocks still on it would be time to put new ones on anyway

Also depending on the width of the rears tires, you might have to roo the rear fenders. Overall lowering a Fox body really gives it a nice stance and look. I can't stand the friggin gap between the wheelwels and the tires.

Well I was only thinking about lowering it an inch or so, I am just wondering if it's gonna be worth all the work.. You say I can get just buy the springs shocks, and caster camber plates. I am hoping lowering will improve the handling a bit to.

Can anyone give me an estimate what it might cost to get it lowered an inch in a shop, thats worst case scenario as I will most likely be doing it myself. Just trying to get a rough idea. I would be throwing in subframe connectors at the same time hopefully.

springs are about the most dramtic thing you can do to change the handling of the car
i like h&r but you can go with the sport springs from eibach either oute you go with thse you are out about 260
you can do it your self but you will need some help to put the front in.. its a pain but you will be happy.. i personally recomend the H&R springs..
