I am not installing this stuff till summer. I will get a cam eventually but these deals are on used items that are for sale and I want to know which I should go for. I am going to go for the intake manifold and wait off for the cam.

Definately the manifold. Not only would I not buy a used cam, but that isn't that much of a discount anyway.

never buy a used cam.
new lifters and new cams wear together, unless it comes with the lifters that were broken in with the cam and they'r numbered in which order they go in, forget it. even so i still wouldnt buy a used cam.
just get yourself a brand new cam, lifters and timing chain later on. buy the intake now.

Wear patterns on lifters to specific cam lobes should only be a concern on flat tappet cams. That would never bother me on a roller cam. But I still don't buy used cams.
