Default Good price for an AOD?

Well, I called my "local" (it's like 50 miles away lol) mustang speed shop and they said that they've got an AOD with 69,000 miles and it works great for 350 bucks. I think that I might go ahead and do it, I'll transplant my shift kit from my current AOD into that one, put this tailshaft thingy that came with the shift kit in, runB&M trickshift auto tranny fluid (has worked awesomely for me), put in a new filter and it should work great, depending on how much money I have left I might buy a 3000 rpm stall, hopefully quik still has his. If I have a little bit more left over I might just get a tranny cooler also. I dunno how hard the tranny cooler is to install but I guess I'll find out.

I thought so also, I might just go ahead and get it, it's got another 75,000-100,000 good miles left on it, maybe more with the shift kit and the tranny cooler that I'm going to add.

The tranny cooler wouldn't be a bad idear! Lemme know how much you pay for it. It would be kind of interesting to know what you would pay for it compared to what I would pay it overseas.

Well my parents said that they are going to buy the transmission for me for my birthday, I was also considering getting an A+ billet servo so I can have a little bit of extra strength on the OD band. My problem is, is that I can find the servo anywhere and I'm wondering how hard it is to install. I need a response on how hard it is to hook up the aftermarket tranny cooler. And Quik if you're out there, do you still have that B&M stall?

$350 is a real good price, Free for your birthday is even beter! Congrats!

The LX that I bought need a tranny and I couldnt' find anyghint under 100K miles for under $600.00! after looking for 3 months, I got lucky and found one in a parts car ad on E-Bay with 5000 miles on a rebuild with a shift kit installed for $350 shipped. I jumped on it!

Dang skippy I'll jump on it lol. My parents called the speed shop and they are holding on to it for me. I've got some money saved up to play with also.
