the powerdyne supercharger is a good unit for the price with good gains in power just as good as any other at the same psi almost well close enough. but if you want a strong race ready unit buy powerdyne and upgrade it to a race ready unit or use your old unit and upgrade. you figure its 1695.00 plus 750.00 for the upgrade and you can get up to 15psi with no problems name another that can do that for that price. this just my opinion and experiance with these products.

Well your entitled to your opinion and others have thiers based upon their experiances. Personally I think there are better units out there and for not that much more. I always try and do it right the first time around, it's cheaper in the long run.

yeah your right and my experiance with powerdyne has been great. just give powerdyne a few years more and they will have the edge in the industry there tring the impossible. by building a cheap, powerful, reliable blower. so i say give them a little more respect they've been responsible for many of the latest cost effective street brawlers today.

How many other superchargers have you owned? Everyone wants to like what they have, but if have not owned multiple units it's tough to make a fair comparison. Thats a big problem on this site, (this is not direted only to you) we get members who ask for advice and people only tell them "get (insert part here) because I have one" when in reality it might not be the best part for the application.

this is true. but i have had only one more unit and i was a sn-95 paxton and it was alright just did'nt have the potential of this unit. or power. all im trying to do is give people a few more views on the cost effective ways of doing things and share my experiance.

From what I understand the impeller speed is so much lower on the powerdynes than the other's and when you start spinning them closer to the max is where the bearings crap out, the weak link is the bearings
