I got 10k what do i do?
Alright im done saving I saved up 10k (im still in highschool) and im looking to buy a car. I basically was wondering what you guys would do but im kinda steering myself into the direction of either finding a used 97-01gt manual or automatic, finding an old 5.0 but im having a hard time finding one with decent mileage on it, or getting a rolling chasis 5.0 and dropping an engine in it. Im wondering about doing that how much it would cost to pay somone to put a crate engine in for me. if you guys would tell me what you would do with 10k thad be great with the pro's and con's to each. BTW this car is gonna be almost a daily driver so nothing unreliable. thx

When i was in high school i dont remember having anymore than a few hundred bucks working part time, what are you doing after school? Do your parents a favor and get an apartment. Dont put all your money into your first car live a little. Buy a car for about 4 grand and go from there. My first car cost $200.00 lol 1978 toyota celica, i loved that car.

ok well spend 6k on a nice mustang, look on ebay, when i say spend 6k i mean spend 6k not 4k, because if you spend 6k on a fox it is going to be a nice car, try to get one with black interior, and a 5spd, less than 100k on the clock stuff like that.

The one I just bought is ultra nice,and it cost me 7,500 but it only has 30,000 miles on it and it is an 86 saleen look alike.
there are very nice cars out there just have to have patience.

spend about yeah 6 to 6500 u can find a really nice fox 90 91 gt or lx with a built engine alot of the time i got mine for 5000 and i had full suspention full exhaust great interioir clean body ,anyhow i didnt even drive in high school i managed to save some money though and my first car was a 96 trans am that i still had later bought the stang but i say get the 6500 stang or so maybe more if u want take advantage since ur probably not paying rent right now cause when u do man cant do **** but hey to each his own thats just my .02

Man I would fly my *** to Cancun, and not leave the beach bar until that 10 K was gone if I was your age! Just save enough for like a 10 K loan downpayment, take the rest and go on a bender! Make some memories!

You could always donate it for a good cause. I hear the Haus House of Charities is accepting donations. Wothwhile cause to say the least. I would defenatley err I mean they would defenatley know what to do with it. [8D]
