How much is it on the average to put all the guages in?
This is for my 86 faleen.I have brand new guages still in the box.
Just trying to get a quote,thanks
The guages are:
1.speed
2.rev
3.oil
4.fuel
5.voltage
6.temp
something like that,lol.
Its all of them in the dash.

Yea dude it can't be that hard. Get yourself a haynes or chiltons, to start with. This will help you a bazillion times in the future. It will tell you how to remove the gauges to begin with. I'm sure some of the gauges if not all will come with vague to good instructions as well.
I think a little of the difficulty might depend on what kind of gauges you get- mechanical, or electrical. In any case, buy the gauges you want, buy the chiltons or haynes, and give it a run. You'll learn more about your car in the process, and you have us to help in case you stuck!
Out of the group, I've installed an aftermarket tach, and let me tell you- it's a piece of cake.
You should make sure you're getting the right size gauges to fill your dash too, I'm not sure how hard that whole process will be (replacing all your old gauges with the new ones) but I have faith, and like I said you have the most experienced people out there that are willing to help.

is it a replacement cluster made for this car? or are you just putting separate individual ones in? if its a replacement cluster then it is really easy to do, just make sure they are made for your dash, the 86 interior is different from 87-93. My 84 was really easy to take the guages out and put in. I did it just looking around the dash for screws to remove, it could be done in less than 30 minutes i think. And i agree, theres never any harm in owning a chiltons or hayes book

Im pretty sure that Autometer makes a complete gauge cluster.

i think he wants to put the saleen gauges in, if so they are not hard to put in you just have to find them.

sorry it took along time to reply I had shoulder surgery, and it is hard to type one handed,lol.
Thanks for the input,though.The guages are Autometer they are the right sizes and they are individual guages.
Now what about the miles,can I change the mileage on the Autometer ones.
The reason I am asking is because I am in Korea right now and I don't have the guages with me.
These questions are so I will know when I get back home in two months.
