The quad shocks dampen the deflection of the stock control arms/bushings, if you were to get a nice set of control arms, or even just a decent set of tubulars with poly bushings, you wouldnt have to worry about quad shocks

You wouldnt notice any difference if you had good control arms, basically, its like this:

stock control arms/stock bushings/quad shocks < good control arms

when you get the lowers you can get rid of the quads. but uppers are the next thing you want.

The traction bars I have take the place of the lower control arms and wrap around the rear axle.
