Magic Number????
I was posting on the board a few weeks back and someone mentioned the magic number. You multiply ur 1/8th mile time by it to get 1/4 mile times. It was 1.5xxxx i dont remember the rest of it. Anybody have an idea?

Sure dont. Closest 1/4 mile drag strip is a good 150 miles away. while the 1/8th mile drag strip is only 40. I plan on making the trip soon as the strips open back up. Actually im not sure if the big one is even close. Do all tracks close for the season or not?

buy a timing system and finda back country road striaght ofcourse better than driving 150 miles and does not close unless you close it timing system not the whole darn tree use a start and stop sysem cheap no reaction time just 1/4 mile time.

sorry to say this but those calculations dont always work. how about a turbo car. it might lag up till the 1/8 mile but up top it pulls extremely hard. and some cars are built for the 1/8 and not the 1/4 so there time will be off also
