Default TFS Stage 1

I was talking to vfast and he recommended me to change the E cam that i have in the car now to teh TFS stage 1 cam since this is my DD. i have read that the TFS cam is a lot better cam then the E cam is. My question is it worth the time and the money to change the E cam i have now to the TFS cam

No...The e cam is a much better cam then what people give it credit for...And you will lose some low end toruqe with the switch...i could not think of a better performance grind cam as a DD then the e cam..sure it idles a little rough but hey if you don't want that just throw a stock cam back in it and be done..Or get a very mild off the shelf or a mild custom grind..

im just trying to find a better cam thats going to get me some better torque at the low rpms. I dont think the E cam is letting my car reach its potenial. Yes its a DD but i want something that i can get better gains then the E cam from the rpms of idle to 5500 rpms bc thats what i have the car setup for. Here as some basic mods I have on the car if this helps.

331 Stroker
GT40 Port & Polished Heads
Ford Racing 24# injectors
Edelbrock Performer 5.0 Intake
Edelbrock 70mm Throttle Body
Edelbrock 70mm EGR Spacer
Ford Racing E303 Cam
Crane Dual Valve Springs
1.7 Crane Cobra Roller Rockers
C&L 76mm MAF w/ Power Tube
Kibran AFPR w/ Gauge (40 psi)
155 Ford Racing Fuel Pump
K&N Panel Air Filter

IF you were initially selecting a cam, then the TFS Stage 1 is a better cam. But I wouldn't waste the time and money switching from an E to a TFS 1. The gains won't warrant the effort.

thats what i think im going to do the engine was built off the E303 so i think im just going to leave it in their and get a tweecer the tune the computer to see better gains. The car is running rich and having startup idle problems that i can fix with the tweecer so i think im going to do that instead
