Default Procharger Opinions

Im new to the supercharger market, i have had several stangs but my favorite is still the fox's. Read the sticky on superchargers and priced them a lil bit and noticed the prochager kit comes with the intercooler and is realitively the same price as other brands without intercoolers. Id like to do a bigger fuel pump while doing the supercharger. Are the procharger kits reliable, which procharger kit would you suggest, how much PSI would be safe to use with the mods listed:
I have a 93 GT, recently went ahead and put the gt40 crate in it (45 miles on it) so i can mess around with the old block some (185K on it) I have CAI, 76mm Mass air, 70mm TB/egr plate, Fuel regulator, 30lb injectors, Track heat manifold, march pulleys, LT headers, OR H-pipe, flows, MSD coil, ignition, distributor, no smog, cobra R tremec HD tranny............after the SC i'll order a chip so it will already be burned for the SC............or should i forget the SC alltogether and put another fox on juice..........Thanks!!!!

Default RE: Procharger Opinions

I've heard good things about Pro-charger. The bullet proof one is the F-1, but the PSC-1 is supposed to be pretty reliable. The argument is always between the Vortec and Pro-Charger. to me its like ford and chevy guys. nobody ever settles it with solid evidence that one is any better than the other- even though there is no shortage of dynos around. Although your getting this from a guy that's never owned either, I'd buy one in a second. Heard great things about their intercoolers and I like the fact that unlike vortec their intercooler is an air to air type so there's no need for ice-water. Run 9-10 u should be fine- u can stuff more cold air into a combustion chamber than warm air. Do a 255lph fuel pump.
