Default RE: smoking....

Could it be a clogged pcv screen causing more pressure to be built up resulting in a leaky valve cover gasket how you said it is leaking from there onto your headers.

The Moroso Blue valve cover gasket is GREAT. Also good to add the vavle cover studs to make sure the gaskets stays in place. Check your PCV valve .Often they will not be completely sealed to the intake, caused by old and brittle PCV grommet. While your there, hook the PCV screen out,and spray it with carb cleaner or replace it. When I installed mine(new) the grommets was a little loose. So I put alittle silicone and slid it on. Wipped off the excess and pushed the PCV back on. Good luck!!

just checked the car and i noticed that there is only oil on the driver side spark plug wires and it always only smokes from that side. Im pretty positive that it is the driver side valve cover gasket, cause the car has full power, and doesnt drive funny or anything so i dont think it could be the head gasket. To take that valve cover off what do you have to do, im guessing you have to take the upper intake manifold off and the throttle body?
