Question, I just got my car and the guy said he put 93 in it. But 93 is 2.49 here in virginia beach, so can i downgrade to 89?

I've never had a problem with Fram filters but what do you suggest? Maybe there's something about Fram filters that I don't know about. If there is could you enlighten me? I only want the best for my stang!!!

RE: General Parts Used
the grade octane fuel you should use is determined directly by the compression ratio your motor is running. Using 93 vs 87 octane in an 8.5:1 motor is not going to make it run better, faster, cleaner, or more efficiently in any way. Not only is high octane fuel unnecessary in low compression engines, but it can advance your timing over a period of time because it burns slower than lower octane fuel. First thing for you is to check your compression, as that will tell you what grade fuel you need.
