Heads vs. Blower/ Tech Test
Iguess I am pretty well set on the H/C/I combo vs. the blower, but today me and my buddy were arguing (he picks blower) and he argues that for the $2100 for the HCI combo I could put out 375 RWHP with a blower and that it would be alot easier to intsall. My arguement was that even if the blower would put out 30 or 40 more hp and ton more torque, that if you add the extra weight of the blower and all the necc. hardware, and then subtract what you could have had off by switching to aluminum heads, that you have a 100 lb. swing off the nose of the car and that would help even things out. Am I wrong about this?

Also I was on summitracing.com and saw they have a mechanics tech test and I was wondering if you guys on the board would take it and post your scores, just to see who know what I took two diff versions and got a 7 out of 10 both times. Go to this address and on the bottom left hand side youll see TECH TEST.the address is www.streetandstripmotorsports.com

h/i/c is much better. trying to blow all that air through the stock intake stuff is like sucking an elephant through a straw (well, more like blowing it through the straw). get the h/i/c first cause the power will always be there andit is a safer way to more power. afterwards you can charge it and get even more power, bu get the h/i/c first.
