Another Ebay auction for heads. i'm looking to spend 500-600 tops. At first i was looking at Gt-40 heads from rock auto. but i started looking around for some more to see what kindof prices and deals i could find.

Car they would go on is a 95 GT.

Those look like an ok deal but not for $600. If you can get them for $500 I think it's a good deal. Even though he says he did all this stuff to them and says they are fairly new, you still should have them checked out by a good machine shop.

well i bid 350 $, and the bid ends in 1 day 23 hours as of now, and there arent any other bidders.......so i prolly have a pretty good chance of getting them for 350 $ or a lil' bit more.

I wouldn't bid higher then $500. You have no real way of telling what kind of condition those heads are in. They may need to be machined or rebuilt, which you can't tell from the picture.

Also that guy has a nice looking mustang.

What kind of headers are you running...since the p head requires "special" headers...but im sure the factorys will work and i've heard that bbk un-equal shorties will work too.

I think hooker makes an adapter flange for the gt 40 p heads. If i remember the p heads have a diagnal bolt and the stock heads have a square or equal level bolt pattern.

Its not the bolt pattern..all small block fords are the same...the problems lyes in how the spark plugs are angled..they tend to interfear with the primary tubes on some headers.

i have bbk headers.....I'm not too sure what ones they are, they were on the car when i bought it.......anyone know more about that adapeter taht 89chatofive0 mentioned ?
