Ok i had the taurus 3.8 v6 fan and this thing sucked my 100 amp alternator dry and burnt it up twice.Upon inspection if the fan i decided to have it rated for amp draw and it a little over 40 amps!I admit this thing cooled my 331 down and then some i dont want to put that kind of strain on my electrical system because of the other equipment like audio/video.</P>


My question is im looking at one from like autozone that doesnt draw that many amps.I plan to run it all the time while the engine is running so it has to be reliable.I really dont want to go with the black magic im looking for cheap with all the other mods in the works.So what do you say?Are the IMPERIAL fans any good and what is the amp draw on say a 16 inch?As a temp i have my flex a lite on there and belive it or not after driving without it and then with it on you can tell a difference.Or maybe it seems that way since its louder.</P>


Im looking for one that will cool my 331 with a 3 core and draw as few amps as possible.Any ideas?</P>

im running a svo setup . the two 8s or whatever. i have them ran off a relay then off the battery. they cool pretty good.

i think tho i switching them for a more narrower setup. like a set of LS1 fans if they fit.

i got my fans for 50 bucks and the mount with the factory rad brackets but it is real close to theaccesroies

How many amps though?Im a bit limited since i only have a 100 amp.

i have a 30 relay most fans are 30 amps and i have a 20 amp fuse for them
