new rear axles, new front spindles, new brake stuff, www.50resto sells a conversion kit for 1500 that has 11" front 10.5" rear disc brake rotors, axles, calipers, parking brake stuff, mounting brackets, pads, and all hardware. so if you want discs on all 4 then it is a good kit.

People kill me that spend 1,500.00 on a 5 lug conversion and think thats a good deal. I converted mine for less than $200.00. Front rotors from a Lincoln Mark VII will bolt right on. The front is done. For the rear get 2 axles from a ford Ranger. You need 2 trucks because you need 2 axles from the same side. I cant remember if it was 2 drivers side axles or 2 passenger side axles. Pull one of your axles and measure it. Measure the ones from the ranger too and get the ones that are the same. The ranger has one long axle and one short axle. Get the brake drums too, they will fit on the 5.0. If you want to take the backing plates and brakes too it might not be a bad idea. That way you know it will fit perfect. All of that cost me less than 200 because the junkyard didnt know waht I was doing. If you tell them its for a Mustang it may be more expensive.

i dont think it would be more expensive unless they had to tell you what you needed because they know they can take advantage of someone who doesnt know. there is no reason it would cost more for a mustang though
