Default Electric Fan.....Yes? No?

Does anyone know anything about the Proform electric fan for 5.0s? I was reading somewhere that it only cools up to 250hp and i do believe (although there is no dyno results to back it up) that I am way past this mark. The specs about it are exactly like the Flexalite black magic mustang fan, but it is only $107.00 Any informations will greatly help.

here it is in the jegs catalog

I use one off a 3.8 V6 Taurus with AC It keeps my high power Cleveland cool. Never have to turn it on until I cruise in the city or town. Used a relay on it with a circuit breaker for fire/electrical safety and have $10 in the whole deal! Looks factory too. LOL stangpower96 you are a smart shopper too!

i had a proform fan and i really didnt like it that much. You should go with either a Mark VIII fan or a SN95 fan. I have the SN95 fan on my car and i works great. It almost never comes on

Well you can just get a on/off switch for it. Are the SN95 fans loud?

I have the Proform 15" Mustang fan on my car. It is a pretty damn good fan. It flows like 2500 cfm's. As soon as the fan turn on in my car the temp instantly drops.
