I would look into a TF intake or something else beside a corba/gt-40 intake...they are just way out dated and really not a true performance intake.IMO.

DO NOT BUY A NEW FRPP COBRA INTAKE! They are now made in China by Profesional Products, look for a good used one. The Chinese intakes do not have ports that line up well....I have a REAL Cobra intake with GT40 Y heads, a 65mm throttle body and 24#er's

I agree with stangpower96 but the cobra upper lower is still a great buy. It will run with a 70 mil TB and it will support 380 HP in naturally aspirated form and has a nice torque curve for a street application. There are other better ***** out intakes for sure but the cobra intake can be had for 330 to 360 bucks shipped brand new leaving the extra cash saved on a more expensive intake to buy you a TB. Look at where you plan on taking the car HP wise and go with the dollar value/HP value combined. Plus if you get a cobra intake new on the cheap you will not lose much on a resale for a future upgrade.

The only thing I would add to this is wouldnt the 70mm be to big for what you got? I would go with the 65mm, you may get a late Throttle response with the bigger TB. Stock is 60 so 65 would be good, even if you add more in the long run.

Gt's stock TB is 65mm cobras 75mm, my friend put a 75mm TB on his 88 GT and its actually making him get worse milage and its made his car slower.

I dont think so on the TB size. 75 for a cobra is WAY to big.
