Default Weight.

Ok well I want to find out how much my car weighs, with me in it. I know the stock amount and thats all great but i want it on the dot. There have been part changes and all that and I can only guess, even with me in it and being 100 pounds off can make a difference.

I have no clue where you could find out, im sure they have a place where you drive your car on and it shows the weight, i guess just look around? and yea but my mustangs stock except for k&n airfilter and off-road h-pipes but i plan on doing some other mods to it soon. then add that i have to do some work to my car, ive noticed some stuff wrong with it? you know anything about the older mustangs, you may be able to help?

a couple places you can go....

1. a truckstop w/ a scale...cost=$5 w/in 20lbs if digital (not seen non-digital ever)

2. a landscape yard......cost $?? maybe free...ask them to drive on there scale offer $5 bucks to whoever is inside if they say no.

3. a landfill, same thing...they have a scale as well.

the truckstop is easiest....they are at most gas stations off major freeways (interstates)

If you want to know the weight of the car with you in it. There is two things you can do. Your local track should probably have a scale. Or if that is too far, I know this sounds weird but go to your city dump with a bag of whatever you want to throw away and weigh that stuff before you go. Then they weigh you when you go in and when you leave to know how much they have to charge you. It might cost like 5 bucks. Bring light stuff and it will cost less. Just make sure you ask them if they don't have a display up.
