Default Question about pipes

Right now I have off-road H-pipes straight, would it be better to stay with the h-pipes and just get turndowns? or would it be better to go with offroad x-pipes straight or offroad x-pipes turndowns? whats the difference if there really is one between the x-pipes and h-pipes and the turndowns and straights?

Default RE: Question about pipes

H pipe= deep tone
X pipe=raspoer tone

Dumps you will loose low end torque and get exhaust gases in the car
Tailpipes you will keep the torque and have a better sound IMO

Default RE: Question about pipes

keep, the H-pipe it will make the car sound better, right now im running a catted H-pipe, and when I removed my flows to run staight pipes, I lost basicly all of my torque below 2500rpm, but holly **** does it pull hard past 2500 rpm and up to 5600, my topend is way great, for example, when I had the flows on I couldnt spin the tires in a 2nd gear roll at 40, now I can rip them tires apart with straight pipes, but under 2 grand really sucks. its a trade off.
