Flywheel & damper Question
Morning all just like to say," great forum lots of helpful information being shared and exhanged".
I have a 73 Pantera I am replacing the 351c engine with a 94 5.0. I have to use a 164 flywheel for the ZF transaxel. What is the ideal flywheel damper combination and ideal balances 28 oz in vs 50 oz in for both the flywheel and damper for trips to the grocery store and occassional spirited drives. A specs article I have list the 94-95 as having a 50 oz-in unbalanced flywheel with a 28 oz-in unbalanced damper. I was led to believe the two should have the same oz -in
Thanks in advance
Paul
