Heads-cam-intake- supporting mods
I have a 1988 mustang gt with 189000 miles. My plan is to save up money and switch it over to mass air. Then buy a stock shortblock with low miles off ebay and put trickflow heads cam and intake on it.My question is this, if i put the trickflow heads-cam-intake on will I have to get other supporting mods like bigger injectors, bigger fuel pump, and if so will I have to do anything to my ECU to make it run right with the bigger injectors and fuel pump? Thanks

Yes, you are going to have to upgrade your fuel system (injectors and fuel pump). You will prob upgrade to 24's and a 190 pump. It depends on what your running also.

yeah the mass air flow meter will have to be exchanged and you may want to go with a 76mm MAF along with a 70mm throttle body, to really get the full potential out of your car.

It would be a good idea to convert your mass air at the same time as doing those mods so that you dont have to recallibrate everything. Just buy the 76mm MAF and the 70mm TB at the same time. Save yourself some cash...
