Bad Gas Mileage?

Bad Gas Mileage?
What is the average mpg for a 94 cobra? I've been getting between 15-16 mpg. That's an estimate, it could actually be a little worse than that, but I was doing the math in my head and estimating how much I've drivin this week. It just seems like everytime I turn around I'm on "E"

No your about right on the money. I get about 14-15 mpg and thats driving on the freeway and all. But I do gas it a lot everywhere I go. If you want to try to get more out of your car get a full tune up on the car.

Why would anybody buy a mustang and then worry about gas mileage???If so either sell it and buy you a honda or keep it and buy you a honda since that is the only way you will get GOOD gas mileage.Hell i consider 13MPG good gas mileage,but i guess everyone is different.

I'm sorry, I thought this forum was about making sure your stang was running at top performance....what was I thinking? Seriously, it's possible to have a fast stang without emptying your wallet on gas.

check ur o2 sensors and fuel filter and just make sure its in all around tip top running condition but 15 miles is about avg but then again it does depend on how heavy ur foot is as well

I dunno I get incredible gas mileage in my mustang.. about 400km per tank.. Ok not incredible but for a 5.0L it's pretty damn good. Mind you right now I am forced to be nice to it because everytime i step on it my heater core springs a leak.......
