Default 95 mustang gt

Hi,i am going to be doing some more add on's to my car and i am looking for suggestions as to how well the things i will be doing will work??I currently have a basically stock motor internally with add ons such as a mac cold air,mac shorties with bassani catted X pipe and full flowmasters, also have a king cobra clutch and 3.73 rear end, welded frame connectors. What i am planning on doing with the help of a friend is putting a ported and polished edlebrok performer upper and lower,a 70mm tb,(73mm mass air?) and some 30# injectors in it.Will this work for me or a cam also maybe?I really dont want to get to internal at this point with engine(that will come later)and $$'s dont flow like they used to with having 4 kids to provide for.Just looking to see if someone has a similar set up and how it works for them or???

Thanks,
George

30# injectors are a VERY bad idea..You will only need to upgrade injectors once you add good heads,or some type of forced induction or juice it..Also a cam with stock heads is a waste of time and money since the only thing you will gain is sound..and you will lose gas mileage and lots of power down low plus you really won't pick up much up top because of the bottle necking heads..The intake is a good idea but i would run a 65mm tb and the 73mm mass air will be fine.

Yes it should be a nice complement to the full exhaust...and great choice on the intake.

Stock injectors on the 95, have a really bad nozzle design, they are like a Schroeder valve that plunges to release the fuel. It's worth getting aftermarket injectors that have a nozzle that's perforated with pin-****** so the fuel is atomized better. If you ever plan on getting heads, go ahead and pick up some 24# injectors and turn the fuel pressure down.

Those bigger injectors are pretty much worthless since your not F/I. I would stick to the rest of your plan, but work on your heads so you can get more out of the cams. I know I would get the cams just for the sound anyways.
