Default Gas milage question

Hey guys...i was just wondering how many miles u get out of a tank of fuel..my engine is stock and no matter how i drive it..i get 325km per tank...i think thats 203 miles..anyone else get this amount or am i eating up fuel for some reason???

Umm, if your calculations are correct, yes you're eating up fuel. My car is completely built, and I can still get upwards of 290 miles to a tank.

thats like nearly 500km...i live in Canada thats why i convert it....lol....im hoping that my new MAF will possible clear that problem up....there are so many thing that could cause that problem....im gonna have a bunch of things tested in the spring when i get the car out....im gonna make sure everything is working properly....thanks for yout input!

No problem, I get about the same mileage as I did when the car was stock with the stock gears, Now I have 4.10's and the car is making nearly twice the HP's as the stock motor. I dunno, must be my light foot I have. My stang is Red so if I get it over 3k on the street the poe-poe's are hunting for me.

LMAO....me too....they dont like red to much for some reason!! I've still got the stock gears and ****ty milage..I very rarely drive it hard

Yeah the stock gears are good if you are a commuter, but if you do a lot of stop and go, they eat you alive. I actually saw better mileage when I did my gear swap, I dont do a lot of highway.

i get about 300-315 miles per tank my car is a 5.0 vert gt 2.73:1 gears 5spd off road h pipe and a k+n approx 28 mpg!

you think your gas millage is bad im getting about 175 mile out of my tank im just sucking down gas and i really think its my fuel pump its not stock and it sounds really bad it knocks and you can hear it pretty well i know thats not a good thing but i cant find a new fuel pump for an 84 302 carburated

yeah man i i get 170 to the tank.... its really bad.. before i did the 5 lug conversion witht eh sn 95 rear end i got 225 to the tank? i dont know what hapepned.. and yes the gears are the same.. 2:73
