what shortblock
I put a trickflow topend kit on 94gt and it seams to have loss power. I also added new lifters , 24lb injecters, 190ltr fuel pump, BBk adj fuel regulater, 75mm mass air , 70mm throttle body, MAC cold air induction, and BBK chrome equal length headers. The car makes a whistle when you accelerate but the local performance shop says it is the combo of cold air pipe and throttlebody and that it isn't nothing to worry about. They also say the car is probably slower because it need a dyno tune. Well all that is good but I have plans for a shortblock before dynotune. Not much of a change just something that can add a little horsepower and have a long life. I was thinking a 347 but that might not do good for driving on the streets and may not last long. Well maybe a 306 or 308 or even a 331 ? What is the difference between a 306 and 308? thanks for reading and any opinions and facts or questions about any of this is appreciated. also about recent hp problem on present motor.

RE: what shortblock
A 306 is a block that has been bored .03 of an inch to clean the cylinder walls, and the 308 is .04 over. They do not add power, there just a way to machine the imperfections and ware that a tired block gets.
