84 1/2" if you don't have ud pulleys.

84 would would probably be perfect w/ pullies.

i just did it on my '93...... use a goodyear KO60845 or comparable.

w/ the 30 lb inj i'd get a 255 pump , although right now 19 lb'ers and a 190 would be perfect. until you spray 150 on it. 24's would suffice then, but you already have 30's

EDIT************ it's 4060845 not KO

before you get the shorter belt try routing the old one bypassing the smog, i wanted to remove my smog pulley but the belt rubbed against itself going from the waterpump to the alt, and from the alt to the tensioner

im using an 83.5 and you have to route the belt a different way; the v6 way

No. False. Don't listen to the people that are telling you that. Also don't listen to the people that say 835k6 or 850k6. All of these belts are way way way too long. I just took off my smog pump eliminator bracket last night and I had to use a 770k6. It's a little tight but it works. I would say see if you can find a 775k6. That's probably the exact belt. The 770k6 works for mine. I have all the stock pullies except the smg pump is no longer there. If you have all the other accessories just NOT the smog pump get the 770 or 775k6.

?????

did you route it correctly?

like stated b4, you have to go opposite on the water pump pulley now.

i also just did mine (5 days ago), and have all stock pullies, w/ smog removed only , i have AC. a goodyear 4060845 was perfect, tensioner is right in the middle, and the tensioner pulley does NOT get too close, if the belt is too loose , it will.

it's an 84 1/2" belt......your reccomending using a 77 1/2" inch belt. sounds like a no ac car.

now that i think about it, i fit the old belt to see if i could completely bypass the smog when the tensioner was all the way down, thats why it rubbed against itself. heres a side view of the alt, tensioner, smog, and water pump. do you think i can take off that smog pulley after all?

You don't have to run it the opposite way. I ran it exactly the same way and it fits fine. Your talking about a no a/c car. The smog pump sits a lot farther away from the block than the a/c. Hense the space your deleting is a lot more. Therefore you need a shorter belt. The diagram the white stallion , No offense or anything, but will F*ck your motor up. your spining the fan the wrong way so if your using a manuel clutched fan you might as well park the car. You can run it the same way as the stock belt just make sure that the belt is tight enough to have a couple of inches of clearance between the tensionor and the watar pump. I did it on mine and it works good. I'd rather have a tight belt than a water pump spinning the wrong way.
