Is there a big difference in sound or performance between an X-pipe and an h-pipe? If so which do you recommend?

the h-pipe has a deeper sound i think it sounds better than the x

how is the bbk h pipe? is the offroad pipe better?

Welcome to the forum! as posted before:

x-pipe - higher pitched and not so deep, I've heard of maybe 2hp over the h-pipe
h-pipe - low tone but deep and loud

The x pipe will give you a much cleaner and smoother sound then any h pipe..plus it does have kinda of an exotic sound to it also...as well be proven for a couple more hp then the h pipe.

If you cant decide what to get Hpipe or Xpipe you should do what i did go whit a MAC-PROchambe
ok a Hpipe and Xpipe are both for low end 1500-3500 RPM
but the pro-chamber is for top end 3500rpm---------------------------------- to red line
and its dino proven.
The Hpipe,Xpipe and pro-chamber still give you abut the same HP but its your choice if you want the power at low end or top end. hope this helps.
