I use the fram because its soooo much easier to get them off with the sure grip. With the other filters, if oil gets on the side your done (i don't have one of the oil filter wrenches [&:] )
+there somewhere around $4

you dont use a wrench to tighten it anyways man, you tighten it until you dont hear it going up n down if u wiggle it then tighten it 3/4 or 7/8 of a turn. thats all done with hand.

We have a business account with wix and use them for all of our vehicles and they work great! I would reccomend wix, but the again I've never had a problem with any oil filter that I've ever used.

in my opinions from seeing oil in diff cars and seeing what oil filter they used, id recommend the following only: k&n, motorcraft, wix and theres another 1 i just cant think of the name

fram = garbage, although they do have 1 filter that isnt too bad its there best 1 and its still only decent, its the double guard or something like that.

I use a wrench all the time. Spin it on until the gasket just touches and give it 3/4-1 turn... usally 3/4 on smaller cars, always at least 7/8 of a turn on the dodge and any other big filters. Rule I was tought never had a problem yet.

I don't know much about the differences, so I go with STP...the blue color looks cool down there too.

So the K&N is worth the extra 9 bucks over the fram?

Just go to NAPA and get their brand filter.
Wix makes them

Yes, but get the Napa Gold series, not the standard Napa.
