i was out this weekend drivin in my 83 5.0 when my tranny took a crap on me it was unexpected i wasnt running it hard or anything (no problems before)but hey crap happens. now i got to chose have that one rebuilt or just spend the extra money to get a new one what do u guys think. should i spend the extra and just get a new one. if a new one any suggestion my cars an 83 GLX 5.0 no major mods but some planed?

Auto or manual? If its an auto, grab a mag or summit catalog. I know a guy who runs a Dynamic C4 auto and SWEARS by it so much they sponsor him in a heads up class.
