Is this worth 5200?

also depends on if it was ragged on. if you look at the torque boxes where the control arms meet the unibody, you can see if the tack welds have come loose. also, if the drivers seat wiggles, its coming loose from hard launches and shifts.

Its hard to say without driving it, but I would say thats a great deal, my freind just bought a 91 LX for 5100 with 110k miles and the paint isnt that nice, everything is stock and it doesnt have nice wheels like that one.

does seem a little high.
if the miles are under 90k then ok.
speed density is fine, people make too big a deal over nothing.
and if it's a cali '88 it's mass air anyways.
original owner is a huge + if it is.... and worth a few extra bucks.
a notch in that shape would absolutely sell for that or more, but a gt is easily obtained.
more dettails make the difference......but you wouldn't be raped at that price....i can't see it less than $4500 , unless it has about 150k or more...it's pretty clean

^^^i'M GLAD you said it, because i was wondering where these people were buying their foxes. I am trying to get a fox for my lil bro and put my 95 cobra engine with the vortech supercharger in it, and i cant find a decent one for less the 5,000. I guess in NY you just screwed!!!

No i would say thats about right..i mean i would low ball him and see where he goes but i would probably pay that. I think that whoever said it depends on where in the country you are depends on the price is correct. I mean i got a steal on my 83 with 44,000 miles on it and stored for 13 years, i only paid 2900. but he was old and was in the right place at the right time. If you liek it buy it

RE: Is this worth 5200?
I'm in NC and recently purchased my 87 GT for around 4k. It was listed for 5 but after some nit picking and comprimise I was able to talk him down. Although I did take a risk, I had to drive it on two different days. I would of liked to buy one that hasn't has any mods, so i know the work is done right. My Fox has about 170k on the chassis but only 30k on a freshened 302 to 306 motor. I'd offer him 4200 and settle for 4500, depending on how it drives.
