Is this what i need and is it a good price to rebuild the trans. Also what prices can i look for installation at a shop?

If you want a shop to warranty their work then you shouldnt bring in your own parts, especially not off of ebay. Most auto repair shops dont warranty if you bring in your own stuff.

my mechanic just referred me to a shop they said it could be anywhere betweet 6-700 parts and labor. I could get a new tranny off of ebay for that much

Ford racing sells a rebuild kit form summit for $250, might be worth checking out..
