ok my throwout bearing in my trans in making noise atleast that what i think it is. its almost like rubbing noise not quite grinding but the trans is good runs strong expetialy with the way i push my car haha. but the noise is coming from my trans when im idle or in nutral

yea it is prolly the throwout bearing or the bearing retainer has groove in it

is that a bad thing? i dont feel like dropping the trans again. i did it once by myself to put in my new clutch

It won't hurt anything, but annoy you.
I just changed my t-bearing retainer to a steel one like the Cobras came with. I think it was like $35.
The stock aluminum one had quite a groove in it after 91k miles.
You'd have to drop the transmission, and install a new T/O bearing and T-bearing retainer.

yeah well my 84 has about 165k miles on it still got original trans no rebuild and same with the engine and that bitch halls *** sometimes haha
