I called the guy that did my gears for me. Between him and his brother they have 5 Mustangs and he just does tons of work on his friends mustangs too. He said from what I explained to him it sounded like a stripped the teeth off my reverse gear. He told me that they are in the back half of the tranny and you can access them just by pulling the driveshaft and stuff down and I could just do it that way but by the time I got a shop to do that I could just buy a used trans from a boneyard and put it in myself and probably save some money. Anyone know the going rate for a T5? He said around here he used to get them for like 200-300 bucks but there almost hard to find anymore.

I figured that too, but how would I strip my gear out by getting wheel hop? I have seen many people doing burnouts and whip 180's afterwards and that never happened to their cars, why'd mine do that?

have you tried putting the car in reverse since tis happened???

go nice and easy with it. if you stripped out some teeth on the gear, it will become clearly obvious

you probably just had wheelhop. my 94 cobra does it alot in reverse with too much throttle

Yeah I waited to get home just in case somthing were to happen I wouldn't be pushing her home. And when I did, it makes a random catching/nasty grinding noise, and the car doesn't move it just kind of tugs, very very very lightly. Feels like the car is parked and someone is pusging on the trunk with one hand.
