it was oil?? then you have a problem. do a compression/leakdown test to check your rings.it might not be oil though. it could just be carbon deposites. that mean you are running too rich. OR the spark plug went bad. replce the plugs first and see what that does for you

Im not sure that its oil... you think the oil could have gotten into the the cylinder ant screwed up the ring? That sucks for me.. ill do a compression check on that cylinder im replacing all my plugs with Bosch Platinum 2's or something, i got em for free basically.

it si the other way around, the bad ring would have let the oil into the combustion chamber.

the leakdown test will tell all truth. first, warm up the engine. what you do is pressurize the cylinder at TDC and open up the crankcase oil level checker. listen for a hissing noise. if it is hissing, your rings are bad. if there is a leak, but not in the crankcase, then check the air box for hissing (intake valve) and the exhaust for hissing (exhaust valve). you can also open up the radiator cap and listen for hissing. that will tell you how your head gasket is . you should have no more than 20% leakage.

I repalced the plugs and it helped with a good power increase. All the plugs look fine... a little oil on a couple but not on the threads or in the cylinder...

I'm gonna do a compression check later on and see what happens.
