Default Replacing PCV Valve Question

I'm replacing the PCV Valve on my 94 Cobra as well as the small metal filter that goes below the PCV valve and is actually inside the lower intake manifold. My question is how do I get the metal filter out? I'm really limited on tools right now, but I figured this would be an easy task. Ford didn't leave much room to work with behind the upper intake.

why that is stupid you are just burning oil then bc the vaccum the intake pulls on the pcv valve pulls oil into the intake and then gums up the whole upper and lower intake and the rest of your engine and then you burn the oil in the combustion camber which isnt good. The filter keeps the oil to a minimum from going into your intake

A hanger sounds like a good idea...I'll try it. Are there any risks to removing it completely...or benefits?
